Which place is better in Thailand for a family visit, Phuket or Pattaya?
Phuket hands down! Pattaya is known for its crazy living. However, there are places and things to do in Pattaya beyond the obvious. You have Ripley’s museum, coral island and amusement parks. You can skip ‘The Walking Street’ to dodge the explicits.
Whereas with Phuket, you’ve got a city that has a beach, temple and a lot of theme parks. Moreover, it’s close to Krabi which is one of my favourite destinations. Krabi itself has quite a few things to see like the Emerald pool, Hotspring, Tiger temple. It’s the ferry point for Railay island, another stunner of an island. From Krabi, you can also go to Phi-Phi, a place for all party lovers.
If you’re comfortable drawing borders and visiting another city then do travel Pattaya else you have Phuket which is all PG suited.
